Innisfil Taking Suggestions For New Transit Service

The Town of Innisfil wants to know what their options are when it comes to transit. That’s why council last night voted to approve sending out a Request For Expression of Interest. Interested companies will then write up proposals on how they’d bring a transit service to town. Right now, staff are working with an advisory committee on what kind of transit system they want to see in town, and that could involve a rideshare program where passengers could be picked up when requested, for an affordable rate. Town staff are quick to point out however, they’re open to all ideas.
