Officer Was Already Looking into Speeding Claims In The Area
Well, speak of the devil! A South Simcoe Police officer on Yonge St in Innsfil around 9:00 this morning, looking into reports of drivers motoring along at high speeds in the area, when he saw a speeding car approach. They pointed the radar gun at it, which read 141km/h in an 80 zone. The 27-year-old Orillia man at the wheel had his car impounded and his licence suspended for a week as a result.
