Innisfil Man Facing Second Domestic Assault Charge
Woman Comes Forward Thanks to Urging From Friend
An Innisfil man is facing Domestic Assault charges, and it isn’t the first time either. A woman contacted South Simcoe Police yesterday at the urging of a friend, and claimed she’d been assaulted by her boyfriend twice in November, taking her cell so she couldn’t call for help. Police went to the suspect’s home and after a brief, peaceful standoff, the man surrendered. The 40-year-old already faces Domestic Violence charges stemming from another incident in another city with another victim.
