Innisfil Man Enters Guilty Plea Over Death of Elderly Woman
Second Degree Murder Charge Laid Following Sandy Cove Acres Death in 2014
An Innisfil man has pleaded guilty to the death of an elderly Sandy Cove Acres woman two years ago. Police were called out on May 30th, 2014 to a Sandy Cove Acres home, arriving to find an 81-year-old woman suffering from fatal injuries. Then 54-year-old Richard Dowdell was arrested on scene. South Simcoe Police say he pleaded guilty to Second Degree Murder yesterday, with sentencing expected at the end of this month.
