The CIA has basically made all of their X-Files available to the public. They declassified hundreds of documents in 1978 detailing investigations into Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). Most of the reports are from the 1940s and 50s.

There are literally HUNDREDS of documents you’d have to sift through (which you can do here). To save you some time, here are the 10 most interesting reports:

  1. Flying Saucers Over East Germany, 1952
  2. Minutes from The Branch Chief’s Meeting on UFOs from 1952
  3. Flying Saucers Over Spain and Africa, 1952
  4.  Scientific Advisory Panel on UFOs, 1953
  5. Office Memo on Flying Saucers, 1949
  6. Flying Saucer Survey Reports, 1952
  7. Memo to CIA Director re: Flying Saucers, 1952
  8. Flying Saucers over Belgium, 1952
