Hit and Run Driver Sought
Extensive Damage To Parked Vehicle
Police need help pointing the finger at the driver behind a hit and run. Around 8:00 Saturday evening, Barrie police say someone driving a grey Volvo SUV backed out of a parking spot at the Red Lobster on Bayfield St., smashing into another parked vehicle, causing extensive damage. Witnesses say the driver was a man in his 70’s, with a female passenger in her 30’s. The Volvo may have a broken tail light.
