UPDATE: High Value Razor Blade Theft Caught on Camera

Clean Shaven Suspect Skipped Town

Sept. 19th – Barrie Police say they’ve identified a suspect to this theft. Officers had spoken to the man during an unrelated investigation, but when they went back to the house where the suspect was believed to be staying, they found the 45-year-old man had already skipped town.


Sept. 12th – Security cameras caught the alleged bandit in action, walking into a Bayfield St. grocery store on August 21st and heading right for the razor blade shelf. Police say the suspect took 102 packs of blades, with a value pegged at $3,800 and walked off. The suspect is described as:

  • male
  • white
  • 30-40 years old
  • Approximately 5’8″
  • Bald
  • Boney facial structure
