High Miler Arrested As Kids Hit The Streets

Vehicle Clocked At Over 100km/h In Residential Area During Trick or Treat Time

There was certainly something scary going on the streets of Barrie last night, but it wasn’t trick or treaters. Just after dinnertime last night, as some younger ghouls and goblins were hitting the streets, Barrie Police say a car came barreling down St. Vincent St. at over 100km/h, making sudden lane changes and abrupt turns the whole time. Police were able to stop the vehicle, claiming the driver was not only drunk, but also lacked a valid licence or insurance. The 20-year-old Barrie boy is facing a long list of charges.
