Man Picked Up Carrying Package With Drugs
A joint effort by the OPP and Barrie Police were able to keep over 180-thousand dollars worth of heroin off the streets. A man carrying a package that came in from Central America was chased down by police near the intersection of Yonge and Huronia Roads yesterday afternoon. After picking up the accused, police did a search of a residence and found a large stash of money. Police say the suspect is now facing a long list of charges.
