Help For Teens With Mental Health Issues

Money Available Immediatley

Eighteen-thousand dollars in grants has been announced in new funding aimed at youth with mental health issues. Dale Biddell, with the United Way, says the money will be used to develop courses to help teens aged 14-19 across south Simcoe County. Programs are currently only available in York Region. The new money means youth experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as other issues in other areas, would be able to access the funds and programs immediately. The money will go towards the Hand Up Program and the YWCA Quest.
