Hamburger Flavoured Beer is Here
It's called Grilled Pineapple Golden Ale
There’s no actual beef in the beer, but it’s flavoured based Red Robin’s Banzai Burger, which contains teriyaki glaze and pineapple and is made to actually taste like a hamburger.
Dave Glor from the New Belgium Brewing Company says the beer’s unique flavours were achieved by infusing it with molasses and pineapple and “apple smoked malt to give the beer it’s umami and meaty-ness”.
Red Robin’s Grilled Pineapple Golden Ale will be unveiled at the Great American Beer Festival on October 6th.
