Gravenhurst Grant Money To Fund Age-Friendly Programs
$25,000 in provincial funding given to community
Gravenhurst has an extra twenty five grand in the bank, thanks to a provincial grant. The town has received $25,000 in funding from the Ontario Government, and it’s the maximum amount a town its size can receive. The funding will go towards an Age Friendly Community Planning Grant and study to make sure Gravenhurst has everything an aging population needs, including sufficient active transportation.
