Glenn Frey Statue Unveiled in Arizona

Next time you’re travelling through Winslow, Arizona keep an eye out for a brand new installment in Standin’ on the Corner Park, named after lyrics from 1972’s “Take it Easy”.
The new bronze statue of the late Glenn Frey was recently installed next to a preexisting statue that bares resemblance to Jackson Browne, who co-wrote “Take it Easy” with Frey.
The $22,000 to pay for the statue was raised by two local radio stations who felt it would be a great way to pay tribute to Frey’s impact on Arizona’s history.
