Georgina Dad Charged After Son Hurt In ATV Mishap
Police Say Alcohol Was A Factor in Minor Collision
A Georgina father is facing charges over an ATV crash that injured his son. York Regional Police were called out a Pasedena and Lakeshore Drives parking lot around 3:00 Saturday afternoon, saying they arrived to find a 5-year-old boy suffering minor injury. Officers say the boy’s dad, a 28-year-old man, was driving around the lot with the boy between his legs, when their ATV struck a wooden pole. Police say alcohol was involved, and charged the Georgina man accordingly. The child was treated at hospital and released.
