Georgian Bay District Secondary Students Taking on a SleepOut Challenge
Teaching Staff and Local OPP Also Participating in Challenge Benefiting Youth Homelessness Initiative
A real lesson in helping others comes from a Midland High School. This evening, students and staff of Georgian Bay District Secondary School, along with the OPP, will be holding a SleepOut Challenge in the school’s gym. Everyone there will be spending the night in the gym, with minimal supplies. A donation made will get participants come comforts, like a pillow, blanket, maybe even a mattress if they’re lucky. All the funds go towards the Push for Change initiative, a national campaign combating youth homelessness. You can support the cause without even leaving the house, through this link.
