Phil Collins has come out of his temporary retirement this year with a few performances at the 2016 US Open of Tennis and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He’s has announced something major for 2017: Genesis is reuniting for a tour!
They’re planning the tour for next year and according to reports, rehearsals are already underway. Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks will be joining Phil Collins on the tour, but Peter Gabriel will not.
“Tony, Mike and Phil are rehearsing now. I’m not involved in this round or this year. I haven’t ruled out the possibility of doing something in the future, but right now I’m going to focus on my own work.”
