Desk phones and computers slowly becoming relics

Sign of the times. At the Canadian headquarters for diamond-giant De Beers, in Calgary, phones and computers have been removed from desks. Employees do their work on tablets, and place or receive phone calls using a headset on those devices or a cellphone. The company wanted an office where workers can move around and join colleagues for a meeting, or walk into a conference room and begin a presentation with ease.
