Four B&E’s, Car Theft, Hit And Run, Could All Be Connected

Similarities in Crimes Too Much To Ignore, But Are Being Investigated Separately

A stolen car may have been used as a getaway vehicle following a few B&E’s in Barrie. Police say they got reports of four break and enters in the Toronto and Dalton Streets area, and on O’Shaughnessy Crescent, yesterday and today. This morning, police were called over a black Audi being stolen from an Owen Street address sometime early yesterday morning. That car matched the description of a vehicle involved in a Fail to Remain collision not far from today’s B&E. Police say they’re investigating all incidences separately, but admit there’s enough similarity in the way the crimes were committed, they could be connected.
