Former Councillor Gets Nod In Barrie Byelection
Andrew Prince captures 22% of vote
Andrew Prince is returning to the Barrie Council Chamber. A councillor for Ward 9 from 2006-2010, Prince is the unofficial winner of the Ward 7 byelection to replace John Brassard. Prince took 22.57 per cent of the vote. His closet rival among the other 12 candidates was Craig Ripley at 19.14 per cent. Voter turnout was 17.5 per cent.
