Jim Prentice One Of Four Killed In Single-Engine Crash

Former Alberta Premier Jim Prentice is among four dead following a plane crash in British Columbia. Prentice was aboard a single engine Cessna that disappeared from radar shortly after takeoff from Kelowna, the craft’s wreckage was later found near Winfield B.C. The 60-year-old banker-turned-politician served as Alberta’s Premier until May 2015, and was a federal cabinet minister for six years starting in 2004. Prentice is survived by his wife, three children, and two grandchildren.
