Firearms Charges Laid In Wounding Of Huntsville Man

Non-life threatening injuries

OPP have charged a 29 year old Huntsville man with numerous drug and firearms-related offences after a man was shot Sunday afternoon in Huntsville. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police say there had been an argument at an apartment building on Main Street. They were alerted to this when the wounded man showed up at hospital. Charges include:

  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Uttering threats
  • Possession of a Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Careless Use of a Firearm
