UPDATE: Child Killed In Fiery 400 Crash In North Toronto

Children may be among victims

MONDAY – A four year old girl is among four people killed in the Friday night crash on Highway 400, south of Finch Avenue. Eleven vehicles were involved – three of them transport trucks. OPP say it appears one of them may not have slowed to the conditions of the roadway. Traffic often backs up on that stretch due to lane reductions in the construction zone at Highway 401. OPP are asking anyone who witnessed what happened to give them or Crime Stoppers a call.

SATURDAY – Four people have been killed, others injured, in a fiery crash last night on southbound Highway 400 south of Finch Avenue. Three tractor trailers and several other vehicles were involved. It’s not clear how it happened. OPP say the sky was clear and the road was dry at the time (9:47pm). Southbound lanes of the 400 may be remain closed until noon for the clean-up.
