Fentanyl Dealing Ring Leader Sentenced

Ringleader Sentenced to Ten Years Behind Bars

The man at the centre of a Barrie-based fentanyl dealing ring has been sentenced to ten years behind bars. Raymond Godreau was today sentenced after his arrest under Project Northbound, an investigation into a Barrie medical facility. A secretary there was forging prescriptions and providing them to people Godreau would bring in. The secretary has since been sentenced to nine years in prison for her part in this drug dealing ring, while Godreau will serve ten years minus time served.
