Fatal Collision in East Gwillimbury
Roadway closed nearly twelve hours for investigation
A woman is dead following a crash in East Gwillimbury. York Regional Police say the single vehicle collision happened near Yonge and Holland Landing Rd. just before 11:00 last night, adding the vehicle somehow left the road, went into a ditch, then down into an embankment. A woman in her 20’s was pronounced dead on scene, while police had the roadway closed all night and through the morning rush for investigation, reopening around 11:00.
