Fans Want Quentin Tarantino to Direct Deadpool 2

Deadpool did so well at the box office this year that it’s no wonder Deadpool 2 is already in the works. The production could be facing a bit of a delay after recent news that director Tim Miller has officially stepped down from the project over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds.
Fans have already responded to the news. Someone started a change.org petition pushing for Quentin Tarantino to take over the directing duties for the movie.
“If there was ever a chance to see Tarantino do a project almost guaranteed to make a billion dollars, this is it. We got a great taste of what this could be like in Kill Bill, but imagine having a guy like Tarantino write dialogue for The Merc with the Mouth! It would be so glorious. Join me!”
In 2009, Ryan Reynolds shared his dream of having Tarantino direct the first Deadpool movie. Tarantino was offered the chance to direct 2011’s Green Lantern but turned it down because he wasn’t interested in taking on an existing comic book or character.
