SUMMARY:The Bowie Lives: A Bowie Spectacular
DESCRIPTION:THE BOWIE LIVES: A BOWIE SPECTACULAR - Canada's Sensational Tribute to David Bowie\, performs Sunday November 24th at 730pm  \nat Midland Cultural Centre  333 King Street Midland   \nPRESENTED BY: Blackrose Entertainment \nTICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW \nhttps://www.tickettailor.com/events/midlandculturalcentre/1203089? \n  \nSo what is “The Bowie Lives? www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcjjUehwk7E   \n  \n“The show was just fantastic! Michael Bell sounded more like Bowie than Bowie! The musicians were stellar and on top of their game. The choreography fit nicely with the delivery. Michael's presentation was right on point... the full house loved the 'call and answer' segments and took part in the Show. And\, there were even some audience members that dressed in costume and danced in the aisles!” ~ Pat Porter Radio Personality 4680 Q. \n  \n“Saw the show last night in Toronto and was blown away. Was a little apprehensive at first as I have been a Bowie fan since I was a teen and I was concerned the band may not do the songs justice. I was overwhelmingly thrilled at what I heard and saw\, from the first note I was hooked. The biggest takeaway is you can tell the lead singer is truly a devoted fan himself. Loved the way you honored David Bowie. Hope to see you in Toronto again real soon!” \n  \nWhat the industry has to say… \n“5 Stars! Unbelievable! I could have watched them for two more hours!” says Richard Crouse\, CTV News\, CP24\, NewsTalk1010\, and Host of CTV PopLife. \n  \n“By far\, the best & coolest Bowie Tribute I’ve seen!” says  \nSam Grosso\,of Cadillac Productions. \n  \n“As close as it gets!” says MusikMirage.com \n  \nThey’re all talking about the “The Bowie Lives” A Bowie Spectacular-Canada’s Sensational Tribute to David Bowie! Michael Bell is an award-winning vocalist who channels the sound and styles of David Bowie\, and with the help of an all-star band\, our multimedia\, a theater\, and costumes\, he has captured the imagination of fans young and old. \n  \nMichael discovered Bowie as a teen and performed songs with a number of his early bands. By the 80’s his first theatrical production “ChangesAllBowie” toured the “A circuit” before hanging up his “Ziggy” in the early ’90s. Decades passed. After David’s untimely death on January 10\, 2016\, Michael’s calling returned; his calling to honor the man who helped shape his life. Together with musical director Michael Beauclerc\, they began auditioning players to fill out a band capable of performing some of Rock’s most challenging material. The Bowie Lives bring all hits to the stage; Space Oddity to Lazarus\, and everything in between. \n  \nThe Bowie Lives PRE-SHOW includes the Bowie Bazaar; T-shirts\, collectibles\, LPs and DVDs\, and more. Come dressed as your favorite David Bowie persona or wear your favorite swag and be rewarded!  \nDon’t forget to grab a button! \n  \nMichael is also the subject of an upcoming documentary film “Being David Bowie” \nand an upcoming web series “The Bowie Lives.” \nMore info at www.thebowielives.com  or Twitter/Instagram/Facebook/thebowielives

The\nmore than one billion streams between “Higher\,” “My Sacrifice\,” “One Last Breath\,” “With Arms Wide\nOpen\,” and “My Own Prison” on Spotify alone is a testament to the band’s enduring power. Nearly 30\nyears after CREED’s formation\, the ubiquitous anthems composed by singer Scott Stapp and guitarist\nMark Tremonti\, performed for millions of fans around the world together with drummer Scott Phillips\nand bassist Brian Marshall\, are part of modern rock and alternative’s DNA. My Own Prison (1997) is one\nof the late 20th century’s biggest debuts. Human Clay (1999) and Weathered (2001) both entered the\nBillboard 200 chart at No. 1. Full Circle (2009)\, released after a hiatus\, bowed at No. 1 on the Top Rock\,\nHard Rock\, and Alternative charts and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. With more than 53 million albums sold\nworldwide\, CREED stands alongside iconic bands like Van Halen\, Guns N’ Roses\, and Metallica as one of\nan elite few hard rock outfits to earn RIAA Diamond-certified status\, for more than 11 million sales of\nHuman Clay in the United States.
