SUMMARY:The Beaches at Kee to Bala
DESCRIPTION:Juno Award-winning\, Toronto-based band The Beaches are 100% rock and roll. Comprised of sisters Jordan and Kylie Miller (on lead vocals/bass and guitar\, respectively)\, Eliza Enman-McDaniel (on drums)\, and Leandra Earl (on keys and guitar)\, the band has a natural kismet that shines through on each of their tracks and in their live performances. After two self-released EPs\, The Beaches unveiled their debut album Late Show in October 2017. Late Show was recorded in Toronto and produced by Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of five-time Juno Award-winners Metric and mixed by multi-Grammy Award-winner Tchad Blake. The album propelled the band to a JUNO for Breakthrough Group of the Year and the album’s singles went on to become instant radio favourites\, with the infectious “Money” topping alternative radio charts and “T-Shirt” securing #1 for nine weeks on the Billboard Rock Chart. \nThe Beaches have had a whirlwind couple of years accompanying Death From Above on their North American Tour\, headlining  their first ever national tour\, performing as a supporting act for the Foo Fighters on their Toronto show and most recently having been invited to join Passion Pit on their 10 Year Anniversary Tour. In addition\, last year saw their first iHeart MMVA nomination in the “Best New Canadian Artist” category where they performed their hit single “T-Shirt.” Garnering critical acclaim and public support from Sir Elton John who counts himself as a vocal fan – The Beaches are on the precipice of even greater things in 2019.

SUMMARY:JULES IS DEAD\, Sydney Riley & Cousin Floyd at THE QUEENS NIGHTCLUB
DESCRIPTION:Jules Is Dead has been catching the eye of not just the modern emo-punk scene\, but major labels and the music industry experts as well. In many ways\, Jules perfectly encapsulates the current zeitgeist of independent music with their inclusive nature and take no shit attitude\, but don't assume that this is anything run of the mill. \nMake sure to catch JULES IS DEAD when they perform with their band in Barrie\, Ontario at Queens Hotel on Friday July 12th with Sydney Riley and Cousin Floyd (Justin Lawrence). \nJULES IS DEAD Joined Barrie 360 for an episode of "What Barrie's Talking About"
