Elderly Collingwood Man Rescued From Waters After Fall
Police Say He Suffered Only Minor Injuries
An elderly man suffered only minor injury after being rescued from the waters off Collingwood. OPP say the 85-year-old man was walking along a shoreline path when he slipped and fell down a five foot embankment into the water. Another man heard calls for help and was able to hold the elderly man above water while dialing 911. He was taken to local hospital for treatment.
