Earth Hour

For one hour cities across the world turn off non-essential lights to raise awareness about climate change.

March 24th marks Earth Hour where between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. cities across the world will turn off non-essential lights to raise awareness about climate change. Earth Hour started as a World Wildlife Fund initiative, it’s one way to slow the current rate of global warming. Some families take advantage of the hour to go for a walk or play board games by candlelight.
