DUI Charges Laid in Collingwood

A few drunk driving arrests in Collingwood over the weekend. The first one was around 1:00 Saturday morning; OPP pulled a vehicle over on Saint-Marie St. near Simcoe St. and say, after a roadside breath test, a 27-year-old Collingwood man is up on a DUI charge. Following that, police were called to crash at the intersection of Grey Road 19 and Mountain Road, around 7:00 Saturday evening. Police say a pickup failed to stop for a red light there, and hit oncoming traffic. The 24-year-old West Nipissing man driving the pickup was charged with Drunk Driving.
