Drunk Driver Could Have Avoided Charges

Bartender Tried To Help

A call to police last night has resulted in charges for a Bradford man. But that could have been avoided had he listed to the bar tender. South Simcoe Police say a 50 year old man was refused service at a bar in Bradford after showing up already drunk. When he left the manager offered to call him a cab. He refused. Left the bar, got into his vehicle and drove into a lamp post. Police say a Breathalyzer test showed him 3 times over the legal limit.
He now has a court date.
