Drop-Side Cribs Banned Amid New Infant Safety Rules

Parents-to-be, you’ll want to take note: As of late December, you won’t be able to buy a drop-side crib in Canada. The feds are banning the sale, import, or manufacture of these cribs, after Health Canada says they’ve received reports of at least one death and numerous injuries since the turn of the century. The ban comes as Health Canada hands down new rules governing cribs, cradles, and bassinets.
