Drinking And Drug Charges Laid After Barrie Crash

Future Court Date For Barrie Man

A car crash has resulted in a slew of charges for a local man. Barrie Police got the call to a crash on Wellington St around 10:00 yesterday morning, saying they arrived to find a vehicle hit a cement light barrier causing extensive damage to both. They say the 30-year-old Barrie man behind the wheel not only failed a roadside breath test, but officers claim they found some cocaine and marijuana in the vehicle. The driver will be in court at the end of the month to explain his charges to a judge.
