December 8th, 1980.

It was a cold December evening. You were probably preparing Christmas decorations, or finishing up an evening snack.

And then we all heard the news. John Lennon, shot twice in the back and killed.

As tragic and awful as this was, we get great satisfaction in knowing.. Mark David Chapman is likely never leaving the cage he lies in right now. He was denied parole for a 10th time on August 22nd 2018.

The reasoning behind the parole boards denial was a few key things. Releasing Chapman, would mitigate the seriousness of his crime. As well as put a danger to public and his own safety, citing that someone might try to harm him out of anger or revenge or possibly to gain similar notoriety.
