Deadly Night On Roads In The Region

Two people have been killed in separate collisions in the region. One died in a bus-truck crash on Mountain Road in Collingwood; several others were hurt. OPP say westbound pick-up truck crossed into the eastbound lane near the 10th Line and collided with the bus. The driver up the truck was pronounced dead at the scene; a passenger had to be extricated from the wreckage and was taken to hospital in Toronto with life-threatening injuries. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Troy Scott of Clearview Township. Several passengers on the bus were treated at the scene for injuries; two were taken to hospital.

A pedestrian was killed in Huntsville. OPP say 42 year old Seungah Kim was struck just before 7pm on Brunel Road. She succumbed to her injuries at hospital.
