Cyberbullies Likely To Be Close Friends
Girls more likely to be victims than boys
Your child’s cyberbully is likely to be a current or former friend, or dating partner. A study of 800 students, in grades 8 through 12, found 17 per cent had been involved with cyberbullying the week before the study was done. Six percent were victims, nine per cent were aggressors, two per cent were both. The study also found girls are twice as likely as boys to be victimized.
