Custom Made Telescope Stolen From Backyard Observatory

$30,000 One-of-A-Kind Device Taken

A one-of-a-kind telescope has been stolen from a Barrie backyard. Police got the call on October 30th, that the $30,000 custom-made telescope was stolen from a private observatory in the backyard of an Owen St. home. It is described as a 9-foot tall device made of aircraft aluminum, with a high end camera and computer control attached.
