“Condition Orange” Found Adrift Near Gilford

A water search and rescue had a happy ending today, after South Simcoe Police found both a 14-foot sailboat and a life vest adrift in the waters off Gilford this morning. The owner of both was tracked down shortly after the search began. South Simcoe Police say they had help from the Coast Guard, York Regional Police and the Barrie Police Service in the search.
