Charges Laid After Dog Left In Hot Car In Collingwood

Owner had to pick his pet up from police station

A Brampton man has been charged after a small dog was left in a car Sunday in a parking lot in Collingwood. A caller told police the dog was panting heavily when he removed it from the vehicle and gave it some water. Unable to find the owner, police took it back to the detachment and waited. The owner eventually called to say someone had taken his dog. Police invited him to the detachment to pick it up.
