Celebrating Earth Day

If you want to celebrate Earth Day and the nice weather you can spend the afternoon at the Simcoe County Museum. You can learn how to protect the earth and make your own biodegradable plant pot and candle. The event runs this afternoon between 1 and 4:30.
Also celebrating earth day, is the 49th annual, PITCH-IN week in New Tecumseth. The event begins today and is designed to help you clean up your community. The town will supply you or your organization with bags and gloves to help do a little spring cleaning. All you have to do is contact them first. Over 600-thousand volunteers are expected to help out with this event across the country.
