Cats and Dogs Killed During Tottenham Animal Shelter Fire
Painted Rock Animal Sanctuary Owner Escaped Harm
A fire at a Tottenham animal sanctuary claimed the lives of over two dozen animals. Emergency services got the call to the Painted Rock Animal Farm and Sanctuary on the 3rd Line of New Tecumseth around 11:00 this morning, and while the owner wasn’t in the home at the time, 25 cats and five dogs were killed in the fire. The cause of the blaze hasn’t been determined, nor has a damage estimate.
