Cash-Strapped Man Charged Three Times In Five Days

No more 'free-rides' for this guy

Interesting few days for a 27 year old Ajax man and Barrie Police. He was charged last Thursday after a man a cabbie had picked up in Orillia and driven to Barrie was unable to pay for the ride. The same man was charged with the same offence last night after a trip across Barrie to a massage parlour. Then, just before midnight last night, police were called to the Mac’s Convenience Store Essa Road. The clerk said a man drank a container of apple juice, then announced he had no money to pay for it; that he grabbed a second container and drank it as he was leaving the store. Police found him outside the door. Charges include Transportation Fraud, Theft and Breach of Probation. he was held for a court appearance this morning.
