Carrie Fisher Reveals She Had an Affair with Harrison Ford While Filming ‘Star Wars’

Carrie Fisher finally revealed a secret she’s been keeping for 40 years: She and Harrison Ford had an affair while filming the original Star Wars in 1976. She was 19 and he was 33 during their three-month fling.
“It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend.”
Fisher said the two spent their first night together following a birthday party for George Lucas while Ford was still married to Mary Marquardt. The affair ended when filming wrapped.
She wrote about the affair her new memoir, The Princess Diarist, after discovering all of the journals she kept while filming on location in London.
The Princess Diarist comes out November 22, 2016.
