Police Look For Owners As Boat Continues To take On Water
Marine Officers are currently searching for the owners of a sailboat that is partially submerged in Lake Simcoe. It’s believed the vessel ran aground in shallow water off Second Line in Innisfil, and was anchored. But then started taking on water. No one was found on the boat and South Simcoe Police are attempting to contact the owner BUT want other boaters to be aware of the sinking vessel in the water. The coast guard has been contacted and the boat will be removed.
