Bikers Rescued Bruce Springsteen after his Motorcycle Breaks Down
He bought them a round of drinks
Bruce Springsteen went for a ride on his bike Friday, and ended up breaking down on the side of the road in Freehold, New Jersey. Luckily, a group of bikers on their way back from a Remembrance Day ceremony stopped to see if he needed help.
Dan Barkalow told the AP that they tried to get his bike working again, but when nothing worked, they took him to a nearby restaurant where he bought them a round of drinks.
“We sat there and shot the breeze for a half hour, 45 minutes till his ride showed up. Nice guy, real down to earth. Just talked about motorcycles and his old Freehold days.”
