Sunday was a great day for cancer research. The Terry Fox Run in Barrie raised $90,000, with online donations yet to be factored in (Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman will be happy to know the City of Guelph raised just $53,000 – the two had a friendly wager on which city could raise the most money). Orillia took in $33,000, exceeding it goal of a dollar per resident for a sixth year in a row.
