Belle Ewart Home Hit With Shotgun Blast

Weapons Charges Laid

An Innisfil man is up on charges after a Belle Ewart home took the brunt of a shotgun blast. South Simcoe Police say early Saturday morning, a man fired off a few shells in response to an earlier dispute. There were a number of people inside the home at the time, but the pellets ended up lodged in the side of the home near a few windows instead. Police tracked down a suspect and say they took him into custody last evening, to face charges including Careless Use of A Firearm and Cocaine Possession.
