BB Gun Used In Alleged Alcona Incident

Police in Innisfil are reminding folks that using pellet guns can lead to criminal charges, after a man was hit in the face. An 18-year-old man was walking with his girlfriend along St. John’s Road in Alcona Sunday night, when they were passed by a vehicle. The victim says he heard four shots from a BB gun come from inside the vehicle, and was struck in the face by one of them. No one inside the vehicle was identifiable, and the only description of the vehicle was that it was a black four-door car like a Honda Accord or Toyota Corolla. The victim was treated for minor injuries by paramedics.
