Barrie Woman No Stranger To DUI Charge

Early Morning Drunk Driving Arrest

Some people allegedly never learn. Barrie Police got the call to Rose St. near St. Vincent around 3:30 this morning, with reports of a woman passed out in a running vehicle. Officers arrived, and after some banging on the car window, the woman came too. Police say it took some time to instruct her on how to unlock her car door from the inside, after which police immediately took the keys from the ignition. Officers say the woman admitted she’d been drinking before she tried to start the car again… despite police holding onto the keys. The 40-year-old woman was taken downtown and charged with Drunk Driving, the same charge she faced back in 2011, and 2014.
