Barrie Tool Theft Suspect Caught on Camera

Police Say He Pocketed Power Tools

Rona Theft Suspect WantedBarrie Police seeking a suspect they’re calling a tool enthusiast, after they say he swiped some power tools from the south end Barrie Rona store. It happened on February 5th, police say the guy shoved a Dewalt battery charger and a Dewalt dry-wall cutting tool under his jacket and booted it from the store in a red pickup. Store surveillance allegedly saw the whole thing, and the suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Heavy build
  • approx. 250-275lbs.
  • 60 – 65 years old
  • Wearing a dark blue baseball hat with the letter “C” logo on the front, black jacket, grey golf shirt, jeans, and black boots.

Vehicle described as:

  • Red 1998-2002 Dodge Pick-Up Truck
  • Red Fiberglass cap
  • Approximately 12” beige stripe along bottom rocker area of truck
  • Alloy or Chrome rims
